One But Many Impact Campaign

A Global Initiative for Human-Wildlife Coexistence

The One But Many Impact Campaign uses film, policy engagement, public education, and community-led conservation to advance practical solutions for human-wildlife coexistence.

Inspired by the documentary One But Many, the campaign works to elevate one of the most urgent and overlooked challenges in conservation today: how people and wildlife can thrive together in an increasingly crowded world.

Community-Led Solutions

Lasting conservation solutions cannot be imposed from the outside. They must be developed alongside the communities living closest to wildlife and most affected by human-wildlife conflict.

Through the One But Many Impact Campaign and the Human-Wildlife Project, we work with local leaders, conservation partners, and community members to better understand the challenges they face and identify practical, locally driven solutions that benefit both people and wildlife.

In Zambia, our work focuses on listening first, building relationships, learning from community perspectives, and supporting initiatives that reduce conflict while creating sustainable opportunities for local people.

The Film That Sparked the Movement

One But Many is an feature-length documentary that explores the growing crisis of human-wildlife conflict and challenges many of the assumptions that have shaped conservation policy for decades.

Filmed across Kenya, Zambia, Zimbabwe, Botswana, South Africa, and the United Kingdom, the film brings together scientists, conservationists, policymakers, and local communities to examine both the causes of conflict and the solutions already making a difference.

The impact campaign extends that conversation beyond the screen and into public engagement, policy discussions, and community partnerships.
